Software Developer

•    Develop, and maintain robust web applications using a tech stack that includes PHP 8 (or higher), JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and MySQL DB.

•    Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional team members to enhance and optimize web applications, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.

•    Engage in virtual team meetings via video conferencing and maintain open communication channels through platforms such as e-mail, Zoom, Basecamp, GitHub, and other collaborative tools to achieve project objectives.

•    Provide timely and effective emergency support for web applications to address user issues that may impact work-stoppage situations.

•    Validate technical resolutions for requests from Beta users, ensuring the reliability and functionality of applications.

•    Contribute to the expansion of application functionality, actively participating in shaping the user experience.

•    Directly impact business strategy by providing valuable insights and advice, leveraging strong communication and diplomacy skills to influence strategic functional decisions.

•    Communicate project progress, anticipate potential bottlenecks, manage escalations, and identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at various levels.

•    Foster constructive dialogue to resolve discordant views and collaborate across teams to optimize development processes.

•    Regularly review metrics and proactively seek improved mechanisms for visibility, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

•    Continuously assess and enhance development processes, test plans, and operations, working collaboratively with teams to improve concurrent project delivery.

•    Streamline and eliminate redundant processes in architecture, build, delivery, production operations, or any business area, demonstrating a commitment to efficiency.

•    Share knowledge with the team through various forums, such as brown bag sessions and engineering forums, and demonstrate a high level of expertise through industry certifications.

•    Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to ethical standards. Escalate, manage, and report control issues with transparency.
